Cathedral School Drama Club

The After School Drama Club at Cathedral School is

a branch of MECA  at Cathedral.  MECA at Cathedral is a

collaborative art program with the Maine College of Art (MECA). It

was founded in 2002 by Dolores and Craig Foster.  The program is a

community-based approach to providing a high quality art education

to Cathedral students.

Drama Club  The Drama club is for 5th through 8th graders.  The Club performs two big productions a school year, one in December or January and another in May.  With two plays there are two chances a year to join Drama, students may choose to audition for both plays or just one.  We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and sometimes we rehearse on Saturday mornings. 

 Drama Enrichment Classes  Drama is offered at Cathedral School for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders as a once a week, elective, enrichment class.  In this class students learn some acting fundimentals, games, and perform plays for their classmates.
